Nature Environment and Wildlife Society had organised an event to empower the women steward group of Amlamethi village of Gosaba Block, South 24 Parganas. In this program 1000 chicks and poultry feed were distributed among 34 women to develop backyard poultry farming for augmentation of their income. This event was supported and funded by Global Nature Fund, Germany and Animal Resource Department, Government of West Bengal.
