Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) along with Environmental Sustainability, Health & Safety Division of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Kolkata desired to build awareness among their employees around the burning issues of environment that are threatening the existence and continuance of life in the planet. The celebration of the Environment day from Jun 10th -14th, 2019 provides us with an opportunity to expand the basis for an enlightened opinion and responsible conduct by participating individuals, in preserving and enhancing the environment. We were successful in reaching out almost 300+ TCS employees who had paid visit at the Urban Biodiversity Kiosk desk, given feedback & participated in Spot Quiz/crafting paper bag, stick resolutions on Hope Tree about restoring clean green environment. The fun displays were on plastic pollution and sustainable lifestyles. Unique gifts like Curry leaves Sapling and Plantable pencils were given to TCS participants who won the quiz and other contests.
