NEWS observes #NationalFishFarmersDay with the Community!

On 10th July 2024, Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS) organized an event at Sumatinagar Fish Feed Mill Centre, in Sagar Islands of Sundarban. With 38 enthusiastic participants from Matsyakanya Farmers Interest Group (FIG) and Kalpataru Farmers Interest Group (FIG), the event featured discussions on selection of ideal fish species for fish culture, advantages of polyculture, importance of community farming, scope of branding of fish feed and fish disease management.
