Workshop on Reducing Waste Generation: Innovative Solutions for Managing Plastic Waste in Tourism

Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) is organizing a workshop on
“Substantially Reducing Waste Generation through Prevention, Reduction,
Recycling, and Reuse,” with a special emphasis on managing plastic waste
generated from tourism. Scheduled to take place on 27th January 2025 at The
Ornate Hotel, Guwahati, the workshop will highlight innovative strategies and
success stories in waste management. This event is part of the IKI – BMUV
supported Living Lakes Biodiversity and Climate Project (LLBCP). The
initiative aims to inspire action towards sustainable waste management practices
and foster a cleaner, greener future.
