Representatives from Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS) attended the training session on Sustainable Integrated Farming System organised by BhoomiKa from 27th-29th July, 2022 at Diamond harbour. Integrated farming is an improved version of mixed cropping, which tries to imitate nature’s principles, where not only crops but, varied types of plants, trees, animals, birds, fish, and other aquatic flora and fauna are utilized for production. These are combined in a typical way and each component supplements the other and the waste of one is recycled as a resource for the other. The topics covered in the training: 1.
