The International Day for Forests, 2022

The International Day for Forests, 2022 was observed by the Deorali Chaityapani Krishak Sangha Water Users Association (WUA). They celebrated World Forest Day at Chimney – Deorali Gram Panchayat in association with Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) under the West Bengal Accelerated Development of Minor Irrigation (WBADMI) project at Kurseong. The entire GP falls under the Bagora forest area. The Forest department had recently planted around 250 saplings in the new plantation area of the village.
