Plastic free sorroundings awerness campain

On the occasion of World Wildlife Day (3rd March 2023), Nature Environment and Wildlife Society conducted an awareness drive among the street vendors in and around the Deepor Beel Wildlife Sanctuary. The team spoke to 10 vendors about Deepor Beel and its importance and impressed on them the need to keep the surrounding area plastic free. A pamphlet with information on Deepor Beel and its main Flora and Fauna was also distributed to the vendors. These were also pasted in places of high visibility for further awareness raising. A few vendors volunteered to handout these pamphlets to tourists and customers to help raise awareness.
