Held AGM

Any meeting organized by the Water Users Association is important for implementing any activities viz. agriculture and horticulture, fisheries and institutional development related. The Water Users Association recently held their Annual General Meetings (AGMs). 4 WUAs, namely Kumirmari, Srinarayanpur, Birinchibari, and Purba Surendranagar, held their AGMS in the last three months. The AGMs had an attendance of 60, 122, 33, and 82 respectively. Each AGM followed the required procedure and shared their audit report, going over the year’s work and the coming year’s plans. It was also used as a platform to clarify any doubts and issues members may be facing while also encouraging coordination and cooperation with the District Project Management Unit and SO/SPs team members.
