Due to the increasing issues arising due to
#climatechange, especially in the
#Sundarbans, the local population is finding it increasingly difficult to sustain themselves and is compelled to find work outside their hometown. To create sustainable avenues of income at home they are learning and training in
#agroecologicalpractices such as freshwater aquaculture and backyard poultry farming. On the 19th of Jan, a training session by Milon Sinha was held on these topics accompanied by a tutorial on how to use the chickfeed preparation machine which was handed over to the community along with fish feed on the day to Kumirmari community.
