A Capacity Building Workshop on Project Design & Proposal Writing

A Capacity Building Workshop on Project Design & Proposal Writing was held under the Living Lakes Biodiversity and Climate Project from the 25th to the 27th of April at Kaziranga for the NEWS team. Nisha D’Souza, Conservation Consultant (Founder & Director) of Eco Niche, trained 22 participants on project cycle management and how to create an achievable and comprehensive project design and proposal writing.

The aim of the workshop was to provide participants with the tools, practical skills and strategies needed to plan, design and manage conservation projects, and convert conservation project ideas into comprehensive proposals. 8 sessions were held over these 3 days through a combination of interactive teaching and learning approaches which really helped the team understand the many nuances of project design.
