A training session was conducted on 11th June 2023

A training session was conducted on 11th June 2023 for field personnel who are working on Human-Elephant Conflict along with the Forest Department in the North Bengal landscape in the project entitled “Securing a Sustainable Future for Elephants in Some Protected Areas of North Bengal” at Dolly Inn, Siliguri. Mr. Andreas Mark, President, along with Ms. Nani Fouad, Secretary-General from Nature and Wildlife Foundation, Mr. Anujit Basu, Secretary, Nature and Environment Association, Siliguri, Mr. Prithwish Ghosh, AWLW of Mahananda WLS, Dr. J.R.B Alfred, President, NEWS, and Ms. Ranjana Saha, Field Biologist, NEWS, were present in that training session. Mr. Andreas Mark, took one session on how to handle elephants, and Mr. Prithwish Ghosh took another session about dos and don’ts in a forest and with wildlife.
