Turtles……….the most ancient and primitive reptile groups are found in almost every environment on the planet. Sea turtles are often considered the “Keystone Species” of the oceanic environment. Every year on May 23, World Turtle Day is observed to spread awareness among people about what they can do to safeguard the turtle and tortoise ecosystems. Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS) celebrated ‘World Turtle Day’ with 100 school children at the Gyandeep Academy of Chakersan, Paschim Champaran, Bihar.
