Elephant Protection Group

On 4th of May, at Gyan Deep Academy located in Purania village of Manpur police station area in Valmiki TR, the NEWS team and WASH-education expert Ms. Indu gave detailed information on cleanliness to 60 students including the teachers and EPG (Elephant Protection Group) representative from Chakarsan in a workshop. The NEWS team also held a meeting with Gajmitras to strengthen the elephant rescue teams at Bhawanipur, Bishunapur, Matehi, Amba, and Bardia adjacent to the forest. The team took stock of the damage caused by the elephant.
