International Day For Biological Diversity

The International day for biological diversity 2022 was celebrated by the West Bengal Biodiversity Board (Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal) at the Science City Mini Auditorium. The programme was graced by Sri Bankim Chandra Hazra, Honourable Minister-in-charge, Department of Sundarban affairs. As a part of the release of Board publications, the book “Sundarbaner Kawtha” was officially released today. The book is written by Sri Biswajit Roy Choudhury, Founder-Secretary, Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS), and Sri Himadri Sekhar Debnath, Chairman, West Bengal Biodiversity Board.
