The wildlife is at a constant threat of extinction. Many species of wildlife are disappearing from the bosom of nature. The Royal Bengal Tiger is the heritage of Sundarban. Intending to create awareness among the common people for the wildlife to sustain in their habitat, the Sundarban Tiger Reserve and Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS) have celebrated World Tiger Day đŻat Kumirmari this year. Basirhat Forest Range Ranger, Mr. Syed Saifur Rahman, Kumirmari Panchayat Pradhan, Mr. Debashish Mondal, Mr. Ankan Mandal, and residents on behalf of Bagna Joint Forest Management Committee were among the important guests. A street play called âTiger is our friendâ was organized in the âBudhbarer Bajarâ of Kumirmari at around seven in the morning. Several children from Eco-Club in Kumirmari acted in the play. This play was used to create awareness among the people about how the life of the Sundarban community revolves around the forest, human-animal conflict, etc. At the end of the program, certificates were handed over to the participants. This initiative of the younger generation to protect wildlife made the event more worthwhile⌠#WorldTigerDay2022 #RoyalBengalTiger #Predator #Panthera #IndianTiger #Sundarban #InternationalTigerDay #GlobalTigerDay2022 #bigcats #savetiger #Indianationalanimal #wildlifeconservation
