International Women’s Day Celebration’24

Ms. Ajanta Dey, Joint Secretary & Programme Director, delivers an insightful and engrossing lecture, on the topic “Inspire Inclusion: women in Forest Resource Management – a case study from Sundarban”, highlighting the importance of people’s participation, especially the women who were the cornerstone in NEWS’ mangrove afforestation and conservation programme in an event organized by Central National Herbarium, Botanical Survey of India under the Ministry of Environment Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC) in collaboration with EIACP-PC RP on International Women’s Day 2024.
