Puneet Sagar Abhiyan

In pursuance of the vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister under the flagship campaign- ‘Puneet Sagar Abhiyan’, the Indian Naval Personnel represented by the NOIC (WBG) organization and administrative support of INS Netaji Subhas participated in the Hooghly River Front ‘Clean-Up Drive’ at the Prinsep Ghat, Kolkata on 29.08.2022. The event was coordinated by Nature Environment and Wildlife Society (NEWS), in association with the Kolkata Municipal Corporation. 50 students from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Fort Williams, and Gokhale Memorial Girls School participated in this cleaning drive. Approximately 85 kg of trash was collected.
