Training program on ‘Child Protection and Gender Sensitivity’

Child protection and Gender sensitivity are two important and sensitive topics for any organization working in today’s world. A two-day training program was conducted by Nature Environment and Wildlife Society on ‘Child Protection and Gender Sensitivity’ for the employees of the organisation on 19th April and 20th April, 2023. 22 participants were present in the training program. The resource person for the training program was Ms. Jagati Bagchi. Ms Bagchi discussed the acts of India regarding child protection and gender sensitivity and generated awareness in the employees on the same through discussions, interactive sessions and group activities. She discussed the POCSO

act and explained the offences covered under the act, the scope of the act etc.
