Van Mahotsav Saptah

The festival of life, Van Mahotsav Saptah is a week-long, nationwide plantation festival that sensitizes on planting trees and conserving forests. At Amba and Bishnupur villages of Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary, Van Mahotsav was celebrated by plantation of fruit & timber trees by the communities involving the school children on July 5th and 6th, 2022. Under the SIKA-WASH project, the target is to plant 1000 fruit and timber trees which will be planted by the villagers of the Valmiki Tiger Reserve and the Katarniyaghat Wildlife Sanctuary in desired locations which will be followed by the collection of GPS locations for verification. #Plantation #GoGreen #GreenInitiative #TreePlantation #VanMahotsav #GlobalNatureFund #SIKA #NABU
