Woods Away – The Wondrous Wildlife Exhibition

The exhibition aimed to create awareness of the threats to the ecosystem and maintain the rationale behind this initiative to support conservation at large and showcased more than 60 odd visual elegance of the lustrous ecosystem captured in various wildernesses of India that has been ingeniously photographed by Mr. Biswajit Roy Chowdhury, Mr. Shiladitya Chaudhury & Mr. Dhiman Ghosh. Woods Away, the most coveted wildlife photography exhibition, supported by ITC Sonar Kolkata was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mrs. Chandrima Bhattacharya, Minister of State – Finance, Health & Family Welfare and Land & Land Reforms & Refugee Rehabilitation, Government of West Bengal and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Nick Low, British Deputy High Commissioner, Kolkata in the presence of Mr. Debashish Kumar, MLA, Mr. Suvaprasanna, Eminent Painter and Chairman, West Bengal Heritage Commission, Government of West Bengal, Dr. Jose T Mathew, IFS, Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and HoFF, Government of West Bengal, Dr. Dhriti Banerjee, Director, Zoological Survey of India & Mr. Sanjay Budhia, Managing Director, Patton International Limited.
