BSI team visited BuraburirTot of G plot G.P.and Lakshmipur of Madhusudanpur G.P. during 29-31st March 2018 for monitoring of mangrove plantation done by NEWS in 2017. They met the women group and local community of both the places. BSI team observed mangroves and mangrove associates, analysed physical parameters of soil and pH, and salinity of water. They have expressed an overwhelming reaction and satisfaction about the plantation programmes that added to the faunal diversity of Sundarban.
