Objectives and Goals:

1. Develop community based replicable model for augmentation of alternate livelihood linked with riverine fisheries resources conservation for river fishers through Pilot project through fisheries based IFS (Integrated farming system) at Dumurdaha-Takipara FCS, Dumurdaha, Hooghly.
2. Re-excavation of a stretch of the Channel connecting Behula River integrating community in a pilot project at Sija-Kamalpur for regeneration of fisheries resources like scampi, magur, singhi, Koi etc and augmenting micro- irrigation facility to agriculture.
