Capacity building Training of Gender and Related Issues

A total of 35 youths of Sundarban participated in the workshop, “Capacity building Training of Gender and Related Issues” organized collaboratively by Nature Environment & Wildlife Society (NEWS), Pahachan Foundation, and Lake Gardens women and children Development organizations in collaboration with Terre des Hommes under the initiative of “Lake Gardens women and children Development Centre” at Baruipur Dishari from 26th September to 28th September. Ms. Nirjharini Rath was the facilitator of the entire program. Issues related to gender inequality, differences between sex and gender, the presence of other gender identities in society besides boys and girls, etc. were discussed and various group activities as well as some short films were shown.
