Capacity building workshop at KWS

A two-day training program was organised by NEWS in Katarniaghat on the 21st and 22nd of November 2022 focusing on educating the community to reduce the elephant-human conflict which is prevalent in the area. The FD also announced during the program that the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve and its surrounding forests have been declared as the ‘Terai Elephant Reserve’. The program is the first wonderful step not only as a means of animal-human conciliation but also in its new identity as the ‘Terai Elephant Reserve’. #environment #sustainability
